Slow Damage is a 2021 Boy's Love adult visual novel developed by the (in)famous Nitro Chiral and published in English by Jast Blue. I played this game for the first time over Christmas 2022 and I was hooked from the moment I opened it up. Playing this visual novel has prompted me to check out the rest of Nitro Chiral's catalogue. I adore all of the characters, but I especially fell in love with Towa himself. There's just something about him. A lost and directionless artist, living his life purely because he isn't dead yet. He's such a facinating, deep and complex character, while on the surface he makes himself appear to be any other degenerate.

My favourite love interest in general is Rei, but my favourite route is Fujieda's. But I love all of the love interests. As well as the side characters. Eiji is my favourite of the side characters. I hope to make a Towa ita bag at some point in the future, as well as obtain the Towa nendoroid and the blood transfusion figurine when it releases (and possibly the toilet figurine as well ohoho).
