Moo Deng loving hours

Hello friends! I'm trying my best to stick to a monthly blog and it's almost the end of the month! So time for another update on my incredibly boring life. My housemate and friend E moved out today. She got this super awesome promotion and is moving to the big city for it. I'm so jealous wahhh I wanna move outta this shithole town too!! But more than that I'm incredibly proud of her. She's worked so hard and really deserves it. Since she's moving out of this flat, I'm also moving! But not very far. Just across the city to my friend D's house! She recently kicked out the worst loser neet incel housemate which was perfect timing for meeee. Her house is a bit further out of town and her rent is a lil dearer, but I think it'll be worth it to finally live on the same side of town as literally all of my friends now that E has moved.
D's house also has a big kitchen and a nice backyard and garden, which makes up for the fact that my bedroom will be a lil on the smaller side. I'll be moving in mid October and I'm really excited for it. And you know what else is happening in early-mid October? Wellington Zinefest!!! That's right baby I'll be tabling at Wellington Zinefest once again with the debut of Volume 3 of Milk & Honey! The digital versions will also be available for you all to enjoy very soon.

Last night E, D and I went out for pizza at a really cute pizza and cocktail bar. They had a PS2 playing Crash Team Racing which was awesome. Afterwards we went to an arcade and played a shitload of games. It felt like what would've been the perfect night when I was 15, but even better because I had the money to buy fancy pizza and play a shitload of games at the arcade. I haven't gotten to see my friends too much in the last month, mostly due to a nasty cold that's been going around So this evening out was really, really nice.
If you're in the Cafe Rose web listing, you may have noticed the Discord server has been purged! I've been... Deeply unhappy and uncomfortable with the direction the discord had gone in for a while now. To a point where instead of even trying to moderate it I just ignored it. I wanted it to be a sweet server to talk about cute things with other people like me and that just did not happen one bit haha. My experience with running a discord server (and being in several smallweb related servers) has led me to the conclusion that I am far too much of a normie to be interacting with the majority of Neocities users, let alone trying to run any kind of community anything. In saying that I will continue to run the Cafe Rose listing, but will be returning to not really interacting all too much with Neocities folk.

In terms of media... I haven't been up to much! Been watching a lot of Tasting History with Max Miller while I cross stitch. I also binged 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy! on an especially dead day at work. It was fun but not exactly good. I've also been enjoying Animal Crossing: New Leaf, specifically working towards getting the sweets furniture set from Gracies. I've mostly been focussing on my cross stitch! I'm so close to finishing!!! It's so pretty ahhh I can't wait for it to be done. I also finally finished my patchwork skirt! I've only worn it once (due to living in actual hell) buut I'm very happy with it. One very dumb thing I did this month was try my first ever Starbucks drink! Before stocktake night at work my coworker took me to Starbucks and I got a cookies and cream frappe with no coffee. Insane. Literally insane. It was like drinking melted icecream. Yummy but I would not go again. Also it was $9.50 good lord, for $7 I could get a mudcake from Countdown and eat the whole fucker in a single sitting for the same caloric value. Another thing I tried for the first time that I would actually go back for, however was my first ever rolled ice cream. A cute lil dessert bar opened up in town so I popped in with my mum and we got rolled ice creams. It was so good. I get the hype I do I really do. The one I got was forrero rochere flavour but another time I'd love to try one of their fruit flavours. One final first for this month, the flat cat Kuro-chan let me rub his belly for the first time ever this week. I went up to him while he was sunbathing in the window and gave him a scratch behind his ears and he suddenly rulled over onto bis back and just presended his tummy to me. He wriggled and purred while I rubbed his tummy it was a precious moment That's about it for this month I guess. Very quite as I've been trying to save money in preparation for next month which is going to be very busy, exciting and fun! See you all next time!
