Roast dinner

Salusations! My housemate is watching Chris Chan documentories on the living room tv and it makes me want to put my head in a microwave But I forgive her bc she is putting together a roast chicken dinner for us. As always, the last couple weeks have been eventful and fun! I went to my first anime con on wayy too long. It was really fun! I went with my housemate and also met up with a lolita friend. I finally got to wear Fruits Parlor out for the first time. I bought a fair few goodies at the con, many goodies were for my letter/package exchanges. I sent my first package exchange to Cloverbell off this week. I'm very excited for her to recieve it. I've also been having lots of amazing op shopping luck recently! I've found all sorts of cute things. A lot of cute vintage fabric, a blue Baby Fluppy Dog, a pink glittery Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh and a Korilakkuma head plushie to name some highlights!

I've also been working on a lot of cute things for my bedroom! I finally finished painting this adorable picture frame I thrifted last month. It took forever, but I'm so happy with how it turned out. It was really gross looking when I first got it, but now it's so cute!! I'm not sure what I'll put in the frame. Maybe I'll get a nice lolita photo printed or maybe I'll make a cute little cross stitch to go in it. I also covered my bedside lamp in lace to make it prettier and covered my corkboard in cute fabric. Next I plan on making a tissue box cover. After that hmm... I'm thinking of making a little fabric covered box to put my heatpump remote in so that it looks cute on my bedside table. I also want to make a cover for my gamer chair as the crappy pleather is starting to flake and peel. I also want to get back onto making lolita dresses!

The employment situation has been ahhh... Awkward. I'm really hoping I get real answers on Monday. I'm getting a little tired of being pushed around, it's not something I'm used to. But I'm sure things will come through. Hopefully. I've been trying to keepy myself busy doing fun stuff to avoid thinking about it. It's a weird situation that I shouldn't get into online, but it's incredibly stressful. I've done lots of fun stuff for my website! I want to create more quizzes and a quiz hub page like the lolita hub page. I also want to make a new button for the site. One with cute pixel art. I also got myself a library card this week! The library here is so big and nice.

In terms of media, I finally finished Bardo's route of Lamento! It was really good, I've started Asato's route next but I'm not far in at all. I don't play visual novels every damn day y'know. The new Nu:Carnival event is good! I pulled Morvay twice and Aster won't come home But I did also get sailor Olivine in the idol boy summer event rerun. My housemate and I have been watching a lot of trash YouTube. As well as Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood with our friends Fab and Ben.
Mandarins are the fruit of the season and I've been very much enjoying my mum dropping a bag of them off to me every week. Rug up warm in a blanket and indulge in some sweet mandarins. I look forward to the roast chicken dinner tonight, but I look even more towards using the carcus to make broth for soup later this week. Hopefully things continue to go well!
